You have to try this mead!

Posted a similar review on FB too.We have tried a few flavors. This newest addition was AMAZING! Both my wife and I love fig newtons to begin with. This mead is a liquid fig newton surprise. Looking forward to trying Butter Bee and Direwolf. You know your mead making craft. 😋❤️🎉🐝

In all honesty, this is an amazing mead.

Despite the expense, I've never paid over $100 for 750 ml of mead in my life, not even at a Renaissance Faire, I dare say this was actually worth it.

Yes, it's sweet. That's a selling point for me anyhow. But the waves of flavor weren't just good, they were entertaining. First the honey. Nice, floral, nothing out of the ordinary, but intense. Then the maple. Then the fig. I want to say Mission, and not Brown Turkey or Kadota. Almost like fresh and not that cloying fig-newton sensation of dried. Then back to the maple with a honey-figgy finish.

Easily one of the best meads I've ever had.

Pairs very well with smoked gouda, baked brie, and walnuts.

The bottles are only 375ml, so buy many to save on shipping.

If I had one suggestion, other than moving to larger bottles, it would be to insulate the bottles for shipping. If they had gotten any warmer, the corks would have left the bottles.

Seriously. Not an exaggeration.

Lovely, chocolatey, and lighty fruity. Like a high end dessert in a bottle.

When we opened this bottle we were shredding Gruyere cheese for a souffle. There was a bit of cheese left to snack on, and I HIGHLY recommend this mead to go with it. Our first order from Batch Mead included six different varieties, and this one is definitely a favorite.

Figment Barrel Aged Mead Reviews

This bottle seemed to hit all the marks with balance and flavor. Most definitely could consider it the flavor of the month. Nice job on this one for sure!

If you are into fig flavors but not too heavily fruited, this bottle is for you.
Consistency was right there and its flavor profiles. A must have to any collection.
