Inspired by the rich, caramelized flavors of crème brûlée, this decadent bochet is crafted with caramelized honey, vanilla beans, and lactose sugar. Sweet, smooth, and indulgent, Golden Pyre captures the creamy vanilla and deeply toasted sugar notes of the classic dessert.

TASTING NOTES:
Rich caramelized honey brings deep notes of toasted sugar and caramel, layered with smooth vanilla and creamy sweetness. A decadent, dessert-inspired mead reminiscent of the crackling caramelized top of a classic crème brûlée.

Lactose is the naturally occurring sugar found in milk. Because brewing yeast doesn’t readily ferment it, we use a small amount to add residual sweetness, body, and the smooth, creamy mouthfeel that gives Golden Pyre its crème brûlée-inspired character.
Mead is fermented from honey, water and yeast. Some varieties also contain real fruit, spices and other ingredients notes in the product description. Our ciders are fermented from apples and yeast. Contains sulfites.

How Shipping Works:

Batch Mead ships to 42 U.S. states via UPS or FedEx. Most orders ship for a flat $25, while select states have a $50 rate. Orders over $199 ship free, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

Please allow approximately 3–14 days for delivery; orders are typically fulfilled Monday through Wednesday. Because mead contains alcohol, someone age 21 or older must be present to sign for the package.

You can also ship to a workplace or arrange pickup at a UPS or FedEx location. We do not ship internationally or to P.O. boxes.

Mead is alcohol made by fermenting honey with water. Unlike wine or beer, it doesn’t require grapes or grains, making it naturally gluten-free.
