Yes they did! They didn't discover mead, but they did trade with merchants in Asia where they learned how to make mead. They typically drank meads that were between 4-8% alcohol and some historians believe they saved mead for special occasions.

Hands down, the best fruit cider I have ever had. The nectarine flavor shines through, and isn’t overwhelmed by the apple. My order was shipped quickly, and was very well packed. Everything came in perfect condition.

The shipping costs are understandably high, especially with being completely across the country, so these meads are very special to me and I savor them and order sparingly.

I used to buy another mead named Midnight Jack 1/2 a case at a time literally for years and years. It was a mead made from all the dark fruits. Black cherries, black raspberries, blackberries and black currants. It was the best darn thing I've ever drank! When this mead came out, I just had to try it. It's sooooo close to my old favorite that I went to buy even more and Midnight was sold out, much to my disappointment. When I got the email saying it was back in stock, I had already made an order but jumped at the chance to buy some more and immediately grabbed up 5 more bottles in a separate order. It's sweet, tart, deeply delicious and so good that I'm afraid it'll always be my favorite from Batch Mead! The only way to bump it from the top of my favorite list.. would have to be something even better.❤️
