Hi! We’re Derek and Danielle Busch, the husband-and-wife team behind Batch Mead. Since 2019, we’ve been crafting award-winning, small-batch meads in Temecula, California.
We started Batch because we fell in love with mead and wanted to share just how flavorful, approachable, and versatile alcohol made from honey can be. We’re still a small, hands-on team, and every bottle is carefully crafted, bottled, and labeled by us.
Made by fermenting honey rather than grapes or grains, mead is naturally gluten-free. From the honey we select to the finished bottle, we believe in real ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and creating mead worth sharing.
